You can sign up for GoNow Gaming by clicking there.

1.3 Does it cost anything to sign up to GoNow Gaming?

Of course, not!

1.4 Is GoNow Gaming legal?

GoNow Gaming is legal, given that the video game competitions we facilitate are games of skill.

In the United States, a handful of states have banned participation in skill based competitions for cash.

If you live in one of the following states, you may not play for cash prizes on GoNow Gaming:

Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont.

1.5 Is the site secure?

GoNow Gaming places the highest concern on making sure your sensitive information is protected.

Our databases and servers are highly secured with robust encryption and we never store your card information. All card transactions are done securely through Stripe.

GoNow Gaming protects sensitive customer data using SSL encryption during transmission and uses 128-bit SSL Verisign Class 3 Certificates.

All customer funds are held separate from company funds in a formal holding account, this means that they remain separate and protected. In the event of insolvency, you will still be able to withdraw your funds.

Playing Matches

2.1 How does GoNow Gaming work?

GoNow Gaming is a social gaming company. We act as a secure third party for players to compete in one-on-one competitions and tournaments - for free, for cash, and for other incredible prizes.

To get started, you’ll want to Sign Up here. After you’re signed up, check out our Open Challenges or Tournaments. This page allows you to join an existing open challenge, create your own match or use the main lobby chat to organize a match with another member of the community.

Once you’ve accepted a challenge or entered a tournament, the entry fee money from each users account will be withdrawn and the combined prize pool will be held in our secure account. Players can communicate through the match lobby chat or by private message as they set up their game and prepare to face off!

After you’ve completed your game, you and your opponent will report the outcome of the match. Once the score is verified, the winner’s account will automatically be credited with the winnings!

2.2 What video games does GoNow Gaming host competition for?

GoNow Gaming currently supports FIFA 17 for head-to-head skill-based competitions, as well as tournaments.

We plan to expand to other games soon and add Multiplayer features!

2.3 How do I play a match?

Add your opponent as a friend on Xbox Live or PSN using their XboX Live Gamertag or PSN ID.

Go to the game mode where you can play a friend online. For example, the Online Friendlies mode in FIFA.

Send a game invite to your opponent.

Check and confirm the match rules and settings.

Start the match.

Note: Be sure to take pictures/screenshots of the match final score in case of a dispute about the match result.

2.4 What happens if my opponent or I get disconnected during an online match?

It is the responsibility of each player to ensure that their connection is suitable for playing online. If a player gets disconnected we recommend that they communicate with their opponent to figure out a way to finish the match — i.e. if the disconnection happened at half-time, the match should be completed after one half of the new game.

2.5 What are disputes, and how do they get handled?

After completing your Head-to-Head match or Tournament competition, both teams will report the result from the game. In the event that both players do not report the result, a “dispute” is created.

We take our gaming very seriously at GoNow Gaming and disputes are no different.

Intentionally wrongly reporting the result of a match is a very serious offense and can result in your account being banned from GoNow Gaming.

2.6 GoNow Gaming Tournaments

Tournaments are great — less risk, higher reward.

Tournaments vary between paid entry, free and sponsored.

Once the tournament starts, you will be notified and the bracket will be randomly generated with your match being created.

Make sure to check the details for each tournament as the window may vary.

Quick Play tournaments will start at a specific time and have an 1-2-hour window to be played.

Money and Payments

3.1 How do the match fees work?

GoNow Gaming takes 10% from each player's entry fee for Head-to-Head matches. This is included in the entry fee - not in addition to it.

i.e. £10 entry fee = £1 fee from each player, £18 prize pool.

3.2 Are there any monthly charges on my credit card?

There are no monthly charges to have a GoNow Gaming account.

3.3 For how much money can I play in a Head-to-Head match?

For Head-to-Head competitions on GoNow Gaming, the minimum challenge amount is £0.25. The maximum challenge amount is £100.00.

3.4 What are GoNow Gaming Points and how can I get/use them?

GoNow Gaming are loyalty points that are earned through playing matches on our site. Users receive points regardless of win or lose (although you get more if you win!). These points can be redeemed for items in our loyalty points shop!

4.1 What is the GoNow Gaming Ranking, or Ranking?

Each player has a GoNow Gaming Ranking, or Ranking, which is an indicator of how good a player is at a game. This is determined by an algorithm that takes into account things like the number of wins & losses a player has, and who they have played against.

For example, if you have a Ranking of 1,500, and you beat a player with a Ranking of 1,600, your Ranking will go up a lot more than if you beat a player who has a Ranking of 1,450.

Rankings are more volatile dependant on the stake of the match played, this is to minimise the risk of ‘hustling’ and ‘sharking’.

4.2 How old do I have to be to compete on GoNow Gaming?

You must be at least 13 years of age to register an account with GoNow Gaming. To enter paid-entry cash challenges or tournaments, you must be at least 18 years of age.

To enter free-entry tournaments for prizes you must be at least 13 years of age.

4.3 Can I have more than one account?

No. You are only allowed to compete on GoNow Gaming under one account. Your Xbox Live Gamertag or PlayStation Network ID will only work on one GoNow Gaming account.
